The other day a friend in Vienna (from the test ban crowd) e-mailed me the following invitation:The new show at the Kargl Gallery in Vienna is a series of paintings by Lisa Ruyter of meetings of the IAEA Board of Governors. The attached press release reproduces two of the paintings.
As the press release indicates, the Opening reception for the public is next week, Thursday 13 November 2008, 19:00-21:00. There is also a special reception being organized for the Permanent Missions and international organizations on Tuesday 25 November 2008. Mark your calendars! And feel free to forward this email on further.
The address is: Georg Kargl Fine Arts, Schleifmühlgasse 5, 1050 Vienna, www.georgkargl.com
Looks like there is going to be lots of good paintings on display. So if you're in Austria, do drop by and have a look at some nuclear art.
